I’m young(ish) but I’ve been around the block a few times. I’ve worked in a variety of positions ranging from an in-house marketing shill who cared about nothing more than the highest conversion rate, to an agency designer creating questionably useful, yet attractive, interactive experiences.
Additionally I’m a kick ass HTML/CSS developer well versed in the semantic web. I’ve dropped support for IE6 on my portfolio site; however, I understand that solution isn’t practical for every project. As a result, I keep up on all the latest cross-browser tips & tricks.
My Primary Skills:
That’s not all!
Life would be boring if all I did was design and front-end work. I’ve been the jack-of-all trades web person and have managed to play with and implement just about any technology necessary to get a site live. I’m by no means an expert in the following technologies, but I can and have worked with them to achieve site goals.
- Flash (with Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0)
- XML (in conjunction with Flash and PHP)
Outside of Work
I’m a Minnesota native who, after spending 6 years away from the motherland, has decided to move back to Minneapolis and spend time re-exploring the city in between summers of swimming and winters of skiing.
